foxpaw
tom | windclan | 8 moons | apprentice

Appearance
Foxpaw is, as decreed by his name, a ginger swirled tabby with thin body fur. However, while his torso fur is thin, his tail is bushy, identical to that of a fox, and thus his name. Being more lithe than strong, his muscles are lean, enabling him great finesse. Being smaller than the average apprentice, he is able to crawl into tight spots that no other cat could. This enables him fast escapes from much larger opponents, and is able to confuse his opponents by running around wildly. However, he is tired out easily, making for great speed, but less stamina.
While he is swift and cunning, He does have a bit of a feminine charm to him, which he despises greatly. His body is curvy, and his eyes are a deep yellow. Foxpaw hates the femininity he has, but is unable to change it. He just hopes that, as he grows older, his femininity will disappear.
Personality
Foxpaw is a bit of a prankster and jokester: he likes to trick cats with his cunning technique and force them to spring traps. They're usually harmless: an infestation of toads or crickets, or sometimes leaves covered in bile. But he would never go so far as to do drastic things, such as putting death berries in someone's food. That would be a step too far. Usually, it's his mentor that keeps him in line.
Besides his childish behavior, Foxpaw is a very caring cat. He prefers to listen to other cats' problems than explain his own, which can lead to him bubbling everything up inside. Fox is not one to share, and he hardly ever trusts a cat. In fact, it could take moons for him to open up completely to even his best friend. This makes him seem like a quiet cat, when in fact he just talks through his jokes.
History
Foxpaw was born in WindClan as Foxkit, along with his brother Ashkit. They were known as the Fire and Ash twins to the rest of the Clan, not only for their Fire and Ash-like pelts, but for their great bond. The two of them did everything together, from pranking the Elder's Den to play-fighting and basically everything. They never left each other's side. Which was a good thing, considering what happened after their apprentice ceremony.
Their father, Mudeyes, was killed in a border battle between WindClan and ThunderClan. Leafpelt, their mother, was heart-broken, and fell into a state of depression. She no longer spent any time with her beloved kits, and grew more and more distant from them everyday. The two of them couldn't understand why, but they did their best to take care of her. With her pessimistic attitude, her health began to decrease as she refused to eat or drink. Completely forgotten, Foxpaw and Ashpaw decided they didn't need their mother, and proceeded to take care of themselves.
Leafpelt died around their seventh moon. She starved herself to death, and a vigil was held afterwards. However, because of her attitude in her last days, the two apprentices felt no remorse. How could they, since their mother had vanished from their lives. Disappeared without a trace. Well, they'd just have to live their lives without her. They had each other. Nothing could go wrong.
