SNOWMINT
she-cat | thunderclan | 23 moons | warrior

Appearance
Snowmint is very pretty, bearing frosty blue eyes that could cause hell itself to ice over and melt under their steady gaze. She's quite thin and very dainty, some might call her a priss, but she does happen to use her claws very well and, for the most part, quite ferociously when she wants to. Her fur is light and creamy, incredibly soft to the touch as well. Sometimes, especially in the moonlight, it emits a hauntingly silver glow, making her look somewhat angelic. She has darker bands around her feet, some gently framing her face. They also run down her very long, twine-like tail.
Personality
Snowmint, clever as a fox and twice as beautiful, holds much promise in her future to serve her clan and all who reside in it. She has many redeeming qualities, and few flaws, although she does possess some, such as her on and off attitude. It is not necessary to insult a cat as intelligent as she, in fact, it is downright foolish. One must also consider that she has a fierce side and some knowledge of herbs from her kithood. Snowmint is merciful, however, and actually cares very much for most of the cats in her clan, so much so that she would be willing to risk her life for them. Her heart is stern when it needs to be, and she can be tougher than the meanest rogue, and twice as stubborn. She has the roughest, sauciest tongue in the clan. This shocks the elders who still give her nicknames like 'young one' and 'sweetie pie'.
Snowmint is young, and beautiful, but she doesn't flirt. She loves her role in the clan, and she only serves the clan. Anyone else, including family, must come second. Unfortunately, this has consequences. Some call her heartless, and some say she needs to loosen up. However, she isn't heartless, she just doesn't want to suffer the painful heartbreak that she knows will find her if she isn't careful. She needs to focus on her clanmates, not herself. She has somewhat of a sense of humor, giggling slightly at some of the stories told to her by kits. She enjoys spending time with the kits of her clan, praising their innocence, sucking it up like fresh prey. She longs to possess that same kind of innocence, knowing that she can only move forward, and dreading what lies ahead, thus, giving up her feelings to strengthen herself, if only for a moment.
History
Coalface and Frostbreath always knew that they would have kits one day. The pretty gray she-cat had fallen in love with Frostbreath's crystal blue eyes from the first moment she saw them. They enchanted her, and she immediately knew that he was destined to be her mate. When the time finally came, Coalface was not properly prepared, literally nor in his own mind. There were times where he questioned just how much of Frostbreath's sudden temper could be blamed on the oncoming kits, although he had always been rather paranoid. The birth, however, was no easier. There was a lot of blood, and the smell wafted outside to where Frostbreath waited anxiously. The birth went normally, besides the horrid fact that Coalface would most likely die. She had two kits: Creekkit and Snowkit. Creekkit was a silver tabby, just like her father, and possessed the same amber eyes as her mother. Snowkit was white with some cream and silver in her coat, possessing brilliant blue eyes. From the moment she began to suckle, she knew that she would have to open her eyes eventually. When her stubbornness wore off, and she dared to open one bleary eye, she saw that her sister had passed away in the middle of the night. Coalface survived the awful kitting, however, and proceeded to raise her surviving daughter.
Snowkit loved to talk to Silvercloud, the medicine cat of Thunderclan. Although the thought had never really occurred to her, she realized she would make a pretty good medicine cat. She couldn't stop herself from attempting to learn all of the herbs, and her eyes glowed in pride whenever she was praised on it. Unfortunately, Silvercloud already had an apprentice by the name of Mintpaw. Snowkit had never liked Mintpaw. The she-cat was too stuck-up for her taste. But Mintpaw was not StarClan's first choice to be a medicine cat, and due to personal reasons, she resigned. Snowkit became Snowpaw soon after, but unfortunately was forced to remain a warrior's apprentice. Tragedy struck when Silvercloud couldn't save her mother from green cough, having no help and too many patients as it was. Snowpaw went through a terrible depression, and it didn't help when Silvercloud was mysteriously murdered moons later. The she-cat had been like a mother to her when she had none, and the bitter taste of her warrior name made her want to vomit and die. She continued to mourn for Silvercloud as Mintpaw took the position of medicine cat eagerly as Mintflame. This combined with the fact that things were going terribly wrong in the clans helped her emotions very little.
She was a very good warrior, earning the name Snowmint. She had requested the suffix, as Silvercloud and her mother had both enjoyed the charming ring it had to it. She trained hard, even as the clans began to fall apart and blood was shed. She ignored Mintflame the best she could, yet eventually noticed a change in the cat. Mintflame had grown ill and weary. She had become severely frustrated with Starclan's lack of contact, and Thunderclan's medicine cat was bed-ridden. Snowmint knew she wouldn't have much of a chance to take over, but took precautions and attempted to help the sick cat, biting through the sour feelings. Mintflame eventually died, leaving a new cat to take her place.
