Rainwhisker
tom | thunderclan | forty moons | deputy

Appearance
Rainwhisker's pelt is all a musky blue-gray color. It's soft to the touch and usually groomed quite well. His nose is a darker color than his coat but blends in well. His whiskers are long and prominent, giving him the suffix "whisker". His most captivating feature, however, is his eye color. They are a liquid amber color that stand out against his blue-toned fur. They can be sharp enough to quiet one with just a look, or soft enough to show his emotions.
His build is large but not huge. He has a sleek form that is well muscled. Rainwhisker is very balanced and calm. He has fairly long legs and long body to match.
Personality
Rainwhisker is a good-natured cat, but that might not be your first impression. He doesn't sugar-coat or soften things up. It's not that he's heartless, he just wants others to know the truth. He has a firm but calm voice that can usually capture one's attention with ease. He's very opinionated, but usually keeps his thoughts to himself unless called upon to share. He doesn't like to argue but won't walk away if someone starts one up with him.
He's got a soft spot for kits and apprentices. They always seem to make him smile to himself with their silly ways. He doesn't seem so, but Rainwhisker is actually quite witty and likes to throw around light-hearted jokes when the tension is high. He likes making others feel at ease and he's pretty good at doing so. This tom pretty much sucks at getting a she-cat's attention. He falls easily for them, but tends to close up when he gets nervous. He tries not to think about having a mate because it's difficult for him to bring it up around a female that catches his eye, but in his heart he'd like to have his own kits one day.
History
Rainkit was born with his sister, Leafkit. Since they were young, the two seemed to be stuck together with honey. They never left eachother's sight. Rainkit was the oldest of the two, being a quiet, blue-furred tom. Leafkit was a calm and collected tan tabby like their mother. Since the begining, his sister dreamed of being the best Medicine Cat this clan had ever seen. Rainkit took pride in his sister and hoped she could meet her goal one day.
At almost five moons, the pair dashed out of camp through the dirt place. Rainkit promised his sister they'd have the best adventure of their lives, and she hopped gleefully at his side. They ran through the trees and pretended to stalk mighty prey that hid behind each corner. He loved the way his sister grinned at him as he leaped on to the fake prey. The sun filtered down on their backs as the minutes went on. They continued on down towards the lake shore. He could see the glittering surface of the water as the duo came closer. Dashing up to the lapping waves, he looked behind him as Leafkit came speeding down towards him.
His sister padded slowly into the water, squealing with surprise at how cool it was. As she waded into the water, it was just above her chest, Rainkit smiled at her. His smile faded, however, when her squeal turned into a yelp. She had waded further out, and apparently the shore had dropped off. The water was too deep. Rainkit flattened his ears against his head and ran into the water, but he couldn't swim either. His heart pounded deafeningly loud in his ears. He couldn't see Leafkit anymore. Rainkit waded out as far as he could, but she wasn't there anymore. He couldn't find her. She was gone.
His apprentice years seemed long and dull. He had lost the will to be the best warrior be could be. He didn't care, he didn't try that hard. Life seemed like a blur to him, until his mentor became angry with him. He took Rainpaw out into the forest and told him to straighten up. To stop sulking. Life wasn't going to get better if he didn't make it better. Leafkit would have wanted him to try his best. And after that, that's exactly what he did. He pushed himself harder and tried harder for Leafkit. He put himself in a better mood and wasn't the one sitting in a corner anymore. Now, he has been a warrior for several seasons. Rainwhisker still misses his sister, but it's locked away in his heart. But he still does his best for her.
